It's not over till it's over.

Today was our final full day in Africa, and it was our free day.  We went shopping for souvenirs, got to dip our feet in the Indian Ocean, and some of us even went to get haircuts!  Then we ended our time together with a Wednesday night service at Pastor Maulidio’s church, and then had one final team dinner where we thanked the Pastors who drove us around and encouraged them one final time together as a team.  We also had some fun when Mama Jones and Mr.G (who has been newly named Papa G!) also gave us all superlatives from our time on this trip.

One of the statements that we’ve been using over and over again is that we are just a small part of a larger church back home who is praying regularly for the men and women of the church in Mozambique.

With this being the final blog post from this side of the poem, I wanted to do something a little different.

I asked our whole team to give a short paragraph (most followed the rules and kept it short *cough* Ariana *cough*), but all shared an impactful statement on what this trip meant for them and what some of their highlights were.

Scroll through the pictures below to see what everyone said, and you can also see the superlatives that were given to each of us!
