OUR BELIEFS

“In essentials unity. In non-essentials liberty. In all things love.”
– St. Augustine

At The Corners Chapel, what we believe shapes everything we do.

Our doctrine grounds us in timeless truth,
Our mission drives our purpose.
Our vision paints a picture of what we want to see as the visual embodiment of that mission.
And our discipleship flightpath guides how we mature as followers of Jesus.

Together, these elements reflect our heart to glorify God, make disciples, and see lives transformed by His Word.

Our Doctrine
At The Corners Chapel, our doctrine is the foundation for all we do. These core beliefs reflect the timeless truths of Scripture and guide our teaching, worship, and way of life as a church family. You can find a detailed outline of these beliefs by clicking on the following links:

Our Mission
Our mission is simple yet transformative:

"We want to see lives transformed by the Word of God so that all the corners of the earth will know that Jesus is Lord."

This mission guids everything we do as we seek to glorify God and make disciples both locally and globally.
Our Vision
Our vision is how we live out our mission. We strive to be a:
  1. Gospel-Centered
  2. Multiethnic
  3. Multigenerational church.
The order is intentional because the gospel shapes everything—it compels us to embrace diversity and to bring together people of all ages as we grow in faith together.
Our Strategy (Discipleship Flightpath)
Our strategy for seeing lives transformed is what we call the Discipleship Flightpath. This pathway is designed to help each person grow in their faith through five intentional steps: Gather, Connect, Know, Grow, and Go. These steps represent how we believe lives are changed—by gathering as a local body, connecting in community, knowing God more deeply, growing in discipleship, and going out to share the gospel with the world. This is how we pursue transformation through the power of God’s Word.
