I'm NEW.

We know checking out a church for the first time can feel overwhelming. New faces, unfamiliar spaces, and sometimes you’re just wondering, “Where are the bathrooms?” We get it—it’s not easy being the new person. That’s why we work hard to create a welcoming, relaxed environment where you won’t feel like a stranger for long.
To help you feel at home, here are a few things about The Corners Chapel that might be good to know:

The Corners Chapel isn’t a place for perfect people. None of us have it all together, and we don’t expect you to either. Whether you’ve been following Jesus your whole life, are returning to church after years away, or are just exploring what Christianity is all about, you’re welcome here. You won’t be singled out, put on the spot, or made to feel uncomfortable. We hope you’ll feel free to connect at your own pace.

At The Corners Chapel, we embrace the unique opportunity of being a portable church. On most Sundays, we transform the Nordonia High School into a space for worship, teaching, and community, but we also have several off-site Sundays when the High School is unavaible.  Being portable reminds us that the church isn’t about a building—it’s about people. It keeps us focused on our mission to reach every corner of our community with the gospel, no matter where we meet. Plus, it’s a great way to serve alongside others and build deeper connections!

The word "gospel" means "good news." We are a gospel-centered, multiethnic, multigenerational church. From our Corners Kids Ministry, which provides a safe and fun environment for kids (birth through 6th grade), to our CNRS YTH, which meets every other week for teens, we prioritize the message that Jesus is Lord, and that he is the only way to have hope and peace in this world.  

At The Corners Chapel, we believe church is more than just a Sunday thing.  We’re deeply committed to the Nordonia area and are actively involved in serving locally while also reaching globally through mission partnerships. Our heart is to see every corner of the earth transformed by the gospel of Jesus.

We also "ReStream" our Sunday morning service every Sunday at 6 PM on our YouTube channel. It’s a great way to experience our worship, biblical teaching, and sense of community before you join us in person.
