Homegroup Sunday is a special Sunday when we don’t meet at The Nordonia High School due to building availability. Instead, we gather in homes across our community to worship, learn, and share a meal together.

Most people attend the home group they’re already part of. But anyone can join!
Just text “Home Group Sunday” to 216-236-4472, and we’ll send you the list of participating groups and help you find one nearby.

Not officially — but it’s strongly encouraged to reach out to the host so they know you’re coming (especially if you’re new). The phone number above will get you connected.

Times vary.
Some groups eat breakfast and then watch the service. Others watch first and enjoy lunch afterward.
Almost all groups share a meal in some form. The host will give you the time details.

Yes! Home Group Sunday is also a great opportunity to invite neighbors, friends, or family to watch the service with you. It’s an easy, low-pressure outreach opportunity.

No. Communion is reserved for when we gather together as a full church family.

Giving is not promoted during Home Group Sunday.
If you call The Corners Chapel home, you can still give online as usual or wait until the following Sunday.
11. Is Home Group Sunday the same as a normal home group meeting?
Not exactly. It feels like a home group, but its primary purpose is to replace Sunday service when we are unable to gather at the school. It also provides a great chance to “visit” a home group and meet new people.
12. How long does a Home Group Sunday gathering last?
It differs by group, but most gatherings run 1.5 to 2 hours, depending on meals and conversation.
13. Do Home Group Leaders have any special responsibilities that day?
Primarily hospitality by opening their home, welcoming people, starting the video, and coordinating the meal. Leaders don’t need to prepare a lesson, but they do guide the conversation afterward using the discussion questions provided for that Sunday.
14. What if I’m new to the church?
You’re 100% welcome! Home Group Sunday is one of the best Sundays to jump in because groups are smaller, relational, and easygoing.

15. Will I be expected to join the group long-term?
Not at all. You’re welcome to attend for the day with no pressure.
But if you want to continue with that group afterward, we’d be thrilled to help you make that connection.

- It;s Purposeful — it’s a chance to build deeper relationships, experience church in a smaller setting, and get connected to a home group you may want to join long-term.
